Sparring notes

Consistently passed guards on three different opponents of different body types. Successfully swept people to mount or half and side. Happy I applied the closed guard pass and combined some gb guard passing techniques as well. Passed the z guard by stepping over the top leg to deep half to mount. Passed nicely the half guard to cross side.

Standing knee skip pass in practice. Sometimes got stuck in half but passed easily. Scissor sweep as well as simle situp sweep, mounted triangle, even though failed, kept the mount. Shouldve kept the balance and armbarred the dude.

Worked with really strong guys but mastered positions very well. Reversed well from under a sprawlmwhich honestly works better than the btt sweep. Much more technical and allows for regaining guard. Uses the leg for pushing and that's what makes it tick.

Sparring notes

Finally some closed guard work. Predict we're going back to side control pretty darn soon then mount and back.

Prepared the overhead hip sweep but couldnt finish it due to space. Got passed once by the same dude so I can honestly say that as far as closed guardwork goes, I am pretty sharp for a white belt.

Sparred with agirl and showed her kimura and the kimura sweep. Had good kimura control on a guy as long as he didnt step over my hand. Couldve follewed up with a kimura sweep as he transitioned.

I am addicted.
